Dave and Linda team up with Scenic Tennessee on a cross-state tour to build awareness about being good environmental stewards. The project, Pickin’ Up Tennessee, is all about loving the land and losing the litter. At the beginning of June, the Porfiri/Duvoisin family set out on the 2000 mile tour across Tennessee, filming their adventures along the way. Combining litter pickups and local music, Pickin’ Up Tennessee aims to help clean up Tennessee while having a great time.

The Pickin’ Up Tennessee project was created by Scenic Tennessee, a non-profit organization devoted to keeping Tennessee beautiful. After winning a grant from the Tennessee Department of Transportation, Scenic Tennessee and the Pickin’ Up Tennessee tour set out to address Tennessee’s litter problem and promote recycling along the way.
