Mindflow Films Michael Pollan Lecture for Benwood Foundation

Michael Pollan, bestselling author of The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals, came to Chattanooga as part of the 2011-2012 George T. Hunter lecture series. Mindflow Media interviewed Pollan and documented his visit

Since 2008, Mindflow Media has partnered with the Benwood Foundation to document their Hunter lecture series. Past speakers have included Poet Laureate Robert Pinsky, bestselling author Malcolm Gladwell, Mayor Cory Booker, columnist David Brooks, Pulitzer Prize winner Doris Kearns Goodwin, environmental author Bill McKibben, best selling author Frank McCourt and education reformer Michelle Rhee.

 

Mindflow Produces Fundraising Video and TV spots for Memorial Foundation

Mindflow Media produced a fundraising video and several television spots for the Memorial Foundation as part of their “Inspired Heroes” campaign.

The Inspired Heroes campaign will raise funds for the expansion of Memorial’s main campus and purchase of advanced medical equipment to better serve the Chattanooga area.  You can view the spots on our Commercials page, or watch the full video on Memorial’s website.

Mindflow Principal Shoots New Nat Geo Series

Mindflow partner Dave Porfiri served as Director of Photography on the new primetime National Geographic TV series “Great American Manhunt.” The show follows three experts – a retired police detective, a psychologist and a forensics scientist – as they try to figure out the identity of a living person with very few clues. Dave spent most of the summer of 2011 shooting the studio segments for the eight episodes.
