Michael Pollan, New York Times bestselling author of The Omnivore’s Dilemma: A Natural History of Four Meals, came to Chattanooga as part of the 2011-2012 George T. Hunter lecture series. Mindflow Media interviewed Pollan and documented his visit

Mindflow Media’s documentary “We Shall Not Be Moved: The Nashville Sit-ins” received the prestigious Golden Reel for best documentary/short at the 43rd Annual MCA-I Media Festival.
Mindflow partner Dave Porfiri served as Director of Photography on the new primetime National Geographic TV series “Great American Manhunt.” The show follows three experts – a retired police detective, a psychologist and a forensics scientist – as they try to figure out the identity of a living person with very few clues. Dave spent most of the summer of 2011 shooting the studio segments for the eight episodes.

Mindflow Media’s short documentary, We Shall Not Be Moved: The Nashville Sit-ins, has been nominated for a Regional Emmy award for Best Historical Documentary. This is Mindflow’s third Emmy nomination. Winners will be announced at the 26th Annual Midsouth Regional Emmy Awards in Nashville on Saturday, March 17, 2012 at the Schermerhorn Symphony Center.
